We are excited to announce two new workflow integrations that streamline your daily interactions with Kaseya BMS and VSA and bring greater efficiency to your support processes. Firstly, suggested IT Glue documentation is now viewable directly within BMS tickets. Secondly, you can now execute VSA automation in IT Glue. Learn more about each below!

Suggested IT Glue documentation in BMS tickets

How does this work?

As you work on client tickets in BMS, you can now quickly view all suggested IT Glue documents that relate to your BMS service ticket. As a service desk manager, set up simple ticket settings that will drive the suggestions from IT Glue. In IT Glue, navigate to Account > BMS Ticket Settings and walk through the setup wizard to set specific ticket conditions and actions tailored to what you need. Once you validate and activate your ticket settings, IT Glue documentation will appear directly within your BMS service tickets in a new Related Documentation tab.

This ensures that your technicians see the most relevant information they need as they walk through their troubleshooting workflow. By streamlining the lookup portion of this process, technicians no longer need to switch back and forth between BMS and IT Glue. Instead, that time can be redirected towards your clients.

Executing VSA automation in IT Glue

How does it work?

One of the most common tasks in Kaseya VSA is executing automations or Agent Procedures. Now, you can run these Agent Procedures from directly within IT Glue to further streamline your technician’s daily workflow. In IT Glue, navigate to the Account > Integrations > Kaseya VSA page to enable the new Sync agent procedures function. Once you enter your OAuth details into IT Glue and authenticate in VSA, you will be able to view and execute a list of all available Agent Procedures on your IT Glue Configuration show page.

Without needing to switch back and forth between VSA and IT Glue, you’ve eliminated wasted time and given it back to your clients.

Getting Started

To set up the VSA automation of Agent Procedures within IT Glue, please follow our Executing VSA automation in IT Glue KB article.
